The new car is equipped with Pony.ai’s seventh-generation autonomous passenger car system solution, aiming to achieve large-scale and commercial implementation of autonomous driving products.

According to reports, as the prototype of the first Robotaxi model, GAC Toyota 4X provides the most solid guarantee for the commercialization of autonomous driving. BoZhi 4X Robotaxi will be equipped with the PCS (pre-collision safety system) function of the L2-level T-PILOT intelligent driving assistance system developed based on 20 billion kilometers of intelligent assisted driving "zero accident" data, which can be independent of the autonomous driving system in emergency situations. Bizhi 4X is built based on the e-TNGA exclusive architecture and is positioned as a medium-sized pure electric SUV. In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the new design concept of "Activity Hub", which is inspired by hammerhead sharks and incorporates the use of large-area contrasting color design elements. The headlight set uses a full LED light source, consisting of four lamp beads in a matrix shape, which looks quite sharp.

The new car's fast and slow charging interfaces are located on the fenders on both sides of the front of the car, supporting external discharge functions. The rear shape of the car adopts a fastback and double rear wing design, creating a good sporty feel. The irregularly shaped taillight group adopts the popular through-type design, which further enhances recognition when lit.

It is worth mentioning that the new car is equipped with a Toyota solar charging dome, which can use the solar roof to generate electricity and supply power to the drive battery and 12V battery system. According to Toyota's internal calculations, the amount of solar energy charged per day can charge a smartphone 159 times, and the annual power generation can enable the vehicle to travel 1,750km. Previously, Pony.ai announced the launch of a paid service for autonomous driving at Daxing Airport, and became one of the first companies in Beijing to obtain the commercial pilot of "manned driver" on autonomous driving expressways. Pony.ai’s Daxing Airport self-driving service charging plan adopts a “fixed price” mechanism, referring to the pricing rules used for urban services, and users do not need to pay additional highway tolls. Users can make an appointment for airport pick-up and drop-off one day in advance through the "Pony.ai" mobile app of the same name, and can travel to and from Daxing Airport from more than 1,000 stations in the Yizhuang area.
