On June 1, Leapmotor announced its latest delivery data: in May 2024, Leapmotor delivered 18,165 units, and the SUV Gemini C11 and C10 delivered a record 11,992 units. It is worth mentioning that the Leapmo C16, which made a stunning debut at this year’s Beijing Auto Show, will be officially launched in June.
In recent years, the new energy automobile industry has relied on technological innovation to usher in new overseas opportunities given by the times. In the past May, Leapmotor and the multinational giant Stellantis Group officially established the Leapmo International Joint Venture, a Chinese automobile company. The first case of "reverse joint venture" is groundbreaking in China Automobile's overseas strategy.
Leapao International will start selling electric vehicles in nine European countries from September 2024, and plans to expand its sales outlets in Europe to 200 by the end of this year. The joint venture also plans to enter the Indian and Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, and South American markets starting from the fourth quarter of this year.
